How many sons of the brother of Jared were willing to be king (v25-26)? How many sons of Jared were willing to be king (v27) ? Why do you think all but 1 of them refused to be king (v30) ? How did the brother of Jared feel about having a king? How did Jared feel (v23) ? Note "greivous to THEM". Even though Jared suggested to his brother that they allow the people to have a king, he was not fully in support of it. Why do you think he suggested it anyway? What did the brother of Jared predict would happen to the people if they chose a king (v23) ? Does that happen immediately (v30) ?
