Let's finish the vicious circle diagram. Draw a third arrow from "pride" to "calamity and destruction". Draw a final arrow from "calamity and destruction" back to "humility and righteousness" to form a circle.
Chapters 7 and 8 describe 2 different types of destruction. What were they? (government was destroyed by the people; storms and earthquakes destroyed cities). Would either destruction have occurred if the people were righteous? Were any of the people righteous?
