Activity: If you have children that are nearing baptism, show them how the ordinance is performed. This can often alleviate some fears about baptism.
Discussion: How were Alma and Helam baptized? Ask your younger children: Is that how you will be baptized?
What did Alma say in his prayer that he and Helam covenant to do? Ask your children: Is that the covenant you will make when you are baptized?

The kids loved learning how they would be baptized. You have to be careful to be respectful and teach the children to be respectful of this sacred ordinance. But when we tried this, my kids that were being loud and obnoxious were suddenly quiet and full of wonder about the ordinance of baptism.
